New Portfolio in the Works

If you have been following me from the beginning, you know that almost two years have passed since I launched my ISEEHUE identity and portfolio. Yup, next summer will mark the start of a third year for this blog and my portfolio, so I have been thinking about slightly rebranding myself. It’s always a lot of work to build a new website, even if you use templates… and especially for a guy like me who changes his mind all the time.

One neat thing that I really like about my new portfolio is the fullscreen video background. It’s not a demo reel and it’s not important that you watch it until the end. It’s a montage of my favorite projects with a few before and after here and there. It’s just sitting there in the background of the homepage.

The blog will remain the same and I think it’s for the best. It would take forever to change its format and adjust the layout of the previous posts. I’d rather spend that time on new articles! And to be honest, I like its simplicity and want to keep it that way.

The bulk of the work is done, but there is still one big task that I can’t wait to check off my list: a new demo reel. As you guys must know, editing a demo reel is hard because we all end up criticizing and getting tired of our own work.

Hopefully you’ll like it!
