Casino Commercial

Here’s the first television commercial I graded from A to Z over at SHED:

The grading was done using Autodesk Lustre, part of the Flame Premium family. Coming from an Adobe After Effects and Apple Color world, it was quite scary and mind boggling at first… but when you overcome the strange user interface and the different architecture, it works great.

Director Ben Steiger Levine was very fun to work with and was open to suggestions while knowing what he wanted at the same time. Once we found that winter look we wanted for both the exterior and interior shots, we pretty much stuck to it and made sure that every shot looked good.

Congrats to the 3D guys who did an amazing job on the squirrel. I mean… look at that hair!!
